Reviews and Ratings <br />
The hotel offered a great presidential suite that was spacious, though having someone on the pull-out couch meant limited privacy. The pool area was underwhelming, and while the walk to the main attractions was manageable, I would have preferred a more centralized location. Valet parking at $38 seemed a bit pricey, but overall, the stay was enjoyable with clean and comfortable accommodations.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The room was spacious and clean, offering beautiful views of the city skyline and the canal, which made our stay quite special. The welcoming touches, like receiving leis upon arrival, and the quiet surroundings added to the positive vibe. However, I found the attempt to sell timeshare tours a bit unnecessary and the handicapped room setup created some minor inconveniences with wet towels. But the location was great for getting to nearby attractions and the fitness center, while small, was a plus.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The vintage charm and spaciousness of our room were definite highlights, but the smell of carpet deodorizer and some cleanliness issues detracted from the experience. The amenities were a mixed bag, with friendly staff and free facilities like the laundry but an average pool and no hot tub. Prices felt steep, especially for parking, but the overall location was convenient for getting around.
The resort offers a lovely environment with very clean units, and I truly appreciated the free laundry service. However, the noise from the remodeling in certain rooms was quite disruptive, and the security situation with unmonitored access to the floors was concerning. Overall, it’s a mixed experience with its pros and cons.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Kalakaua's shopping and dining area. The room was clean and the kitchenette made it easy to have breakfast in a cozy setting before heading out for the day. However, I found the pool area quite small and it seems to get crowded easily. Parking costs are on the higher side, adding to the overall cost of staying here.
